My husband, Jim and his cat Esper read the paper together every morning in their favorite chair. This is their ritual. Esper was diagnosed with cancer, Fibrosarcoma, July 2010. Jim asked me to paint a picture of her to remember her by.

It is now March 2011 and Esper is still with us. She is a strong cat, however, her tumor (located on her shoulder) is now twice the size of her head. She is playful, has a great appetite, jumps up on the counter, so, she is not in pain. We are enjoying every moment with her.

RIP Esper, March 18, 2011. Tears.
